Before joining Octane, Carpou was the Managing Partner at TheGreyGroup, a firm he founded that focused on revenue growth and operational improvement for early-stage companies. He also served as an Operating Partner at The Blackstone Group, where he led revenue initiatives for portfolio companies.

Carpou's earlier career includes significant roles at IKON Office Solutions, where he spent 18 years leading revenue and M&A activities within the company's global operations. He began his career at Xerox, gaining valuable experience in sales and management.
